Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for your support over 2017, and a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the JASAL2017 conference in December. It was wonderful to see so many people gathered from all round Japan and from around the globe, and it was really stimulating to share our current research and activities.
We have a couple of announcements for those who participated in JASAL2017. First, we wanted to let you know that a couple of personal items were found at the conference site. If you lost something on that Saturday could you please contact us so that we can make arrangements for you to get the item back? In the email, please tell us what it is that you lost, so we can send it to you: jasalorg@gmail.com. KUIS will keep the items until the end of January.
Second, we’d like to announce that there will be a special issue of SiSAL journal (coming out in June 2018) with papers from JASAL2017. Participants as well as presenters can submit. The Call for Papers is here.
