JASAL Journal Volume 4, Issue 2 is soliciting abstracts for the JASAL Journal for December 2023, with a submission deadline of August 31, 2023. The theme of this issue will be the affective dimension of self-access language learning, but we will consider all proposals related to self-access language learning . Please send abstracts to the JASAL Journal (jasaljournal@gmail.com) by August 31, 2023. In your email, please indicate whether you are proposing a research, practice, or review article. In the subject heading, please write “Special Issue 4(2)” Feel free to make enquiries to the editorial team by email if you are considering whether to submit a paper.
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
- Learner emotions
- Emotion regulation and emotional labour
- Affective learning strategies
- Language anxiety
- Learner motivation and engagement
- Relationship of emotions with other constructs, such as attitudes and beliefs
- Self-factors, including self-esteem and self-efficacy
- Well-being and mindfulness in language learning
- Emotions and lifelong learning
Timeline
- August 31, 2023: submission deadline
- Mid-November, 2023: revised draft due
- December, 2023: publication in the December 2023 issue
You must be a JASAL member to contribute to the JASAL Journal. However, membership is free!
