The conference is the biggest event in the JASAL calendar and can only take place with the support of a dedicated site team, so we are encouraged that there are JASAL members who are up for the challenge. It’s also an extremely rewarding experience and can raise the profile of your SAC spaces (and your own profile at your institution) and offer really valuable experiences for students.
In order to streamline this process and put the conference on a more sustainable footing, we’d like to introduce a little more formality to the process of applying to host a JASAL conference.
If you would be interested in hosting the JASAL conference in the next 5 years, please consider submitting a show of interest to start the conversation. Here are some detailed guidelines, which include a link to the online form. In the form, there is a space to indicate whether this is a formal bid, or just a show of interest at this stage.
